A RABBIT’S FOOT – POWER OF FILM is a cultural event where we invite leaders in film to come together to discuss the role of film and the moving image at large, and their ability to make an impact in the world and influence current affairs.

For this second edition of POWER OF FILM on 1st March at the Royal Institution in Mayfair, London, we have the pleasure to welcome two-time Palme d’Or winner Ken Loach, Academy Award winning director Asif Kapadia in conversation with dancer and choreographer Akram Khan, actor Matthew Modine and acclaimed actress and filmmakers Gwendline Christie, Edgar Wright and Josie Rourke .

On 2nd March we’ll have three Masterclasses with great “masters” in their fields: playwright and screenwriter Sir Christopher Hampton, costume designer Sandy Powell and documentary filmmaker Nick Broomfield.

A RABBIT’S FOOT – POWER OF FILM, in association with Giorgio Armani, promises to be a series of thought provoking discussions about cinema and its power to influence and define the modern world, with a significant cultural, social and political impact.
